But how did it all begin?
Nick & Marco’s Story
Surprisingly, neither worked in hospitality before launching the Gourmet Hog Roast Company. In fact, Nick worked for a FTSE 50 company in IT, and Marco was an accountant. Having young families, they craved spending more time with their loved ones, wanting to find that all important work-life balance.
Their shared passions in life – travelling and being passionate foodies – inspired them to set up a catering company specialising in gourmet, delicious hog roasts, but with the focus on being a professional catering company, and not a ‘man in a van’ outfit. By following their passions, Nick and Marco discovered they could set their own pace in life rather than having it dictated for them.
Using only free-range pigs and quality ingredients, Nick and Marco have grown a successful business in London & the South East and are now ready to take the Gourmet Hog Roast story nationwide.
